Millions of disabled people in Yemen are particularly at risk due to the dire lack of basic care.

The economic situation has had repercussions on Yemenis in general, and those with special needs (disabled) in particular, as people with special needs (disabled) have lost their own sources of income, jobs, and aid.

The war greatly affected people with special needs, exacerbating their suffering, so the impact of war on them was more bitter than the impact of disability.

The war dried up sources of income for people with special needs, and led to their displacement from their homes, where they do not have even the minimum services.

15 thousand people are disabled since the beginning of the war, and about 185 organizations and institutions have closed their doors to people with special needs, in various Yemeni governorates, due to their inability to fulfill their obligations towards them.

The White Crescent Org is working on the ground to provide a wheelchair for disabled people especially children.
